Liaisons
The Spike Tape Liaisons are a group of people who serve the Spike Tape community by ensuring the comfort and safety of all members. Liaisons are assigned to shows they are not otherwise involved in, and serve as a neutral point of contact for the cast, crew and DSM teams of those shows. The Liaison role exists to make sure that, alongside the artistic work, we’re also paying attention to the wellbeing of the people doing it. When everyone feels safe, respected, and supported, the work onstage is better too. The job of the Liaison is to listen, keep conversations confidential, and connect concerns to the right resources or to the board when needed. Liaisons help to encourage communication and respectful collaboration.

In practice, this entails Liaisons introducing themselves at the start of the process, checking in periodically so people know they're available, and leading two structured touchpoints: a mid-process check-in and the post-mortem at the end. These moments give company members a chance to voice concerns, reflect on the process, and suggest improvements for the future.
